During these sessions boys and girls will work with other goalkeepers of similar age and ability. The many aspects of goalkeeping are covered by a different training theme each week. Aspects covered include shot stopping, stance, positional awareness, high balls, 1 vs 1, communication, organisation and distribution to name just a few. Each theme is fun filled with practical exercises that are designed to improve the basic technique of the goalkeeper. Each session progresses from the simple to the more complex game related experience and as such is tailored
so that all participants are challenged both physically and mentally. |
